A piano teacher in Gilbert, Arizona, I have over 20 years of teaching experience. I specialize in beginner to late-intermediate levels, with individual weekly 30 minute lessons. I teach during school hours to homeschooled students, allowing me to spend afternoons with my own 3 children.
I began taking piano lessons at the age of 5, continuing through my freshman year of college. I participated in the National Piano Playing Auditions for 13 years, as well as many festivals, and earned the High School Diploma Award from the National Guild of Piano Teachers my senior year of high school.
I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Secondary Education: Biology, but I have discovered that teaching music is my true passion. I enjoy not only helping my students learn to read music and develop technique, but to gain a lifelong love of music.
