Dr. Yi-Hui Wu holds a Doctoral of Musical Arts from the University of Texas at Austin studying with Bion Tsang. Currently she teaches at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and is a principal substitute cellist with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra. In addition to performing, Dr. Wu is a dedicated teacher with 10+ years of experience and has served on the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin String Project. Several of her students have been selected to all-state high school orchestras and the Phoenix Youth Symphony, as well as played as soloists with school orchestras. She has completed Book 1 and 2 of the Suzuki cello teacher training. Dr. Wu is also an experienced pianist and has taught piano lessons for over 10 years. Several of her piano students have earned Superior rankings in the Arizona Study Program.
